How do I get it to work on Mandrake Linux?

I've been trying and trying, but I can't seem to get it to work, can someone help me?

TRY PRESSING THE SEARCH BUTTON AT THE TOP!

There are walk throughs for most flavors of Linux, including Mandrake in other threads.

Please put forth a little effort before asking for help, and when you do ask for help, please be as specific as possible as to what problem you are encountering.

Go to that link and follow the step by step instructions.

The setup is for Mandrake 8.1, but it works with Mandrake 8.2 also.

Make sure you read as much as you can on these boards, lots info here that helps.

Thanks for the info Smoker, this is bound to help a lot of us. I spent a better part of a weekend and got part of the stuff to compile. From a previous life, things don't always work well with new versions of compilers, so I will search out the set that was used to make the current version and are proven... etc.
