Is CVS Down? (8-May, 10:55 EST)

Does anyone know if the CVS server is down or inaccessible right now? I can connect to it with 'cvs login', but when asked for a password and I hit [enter] I get a 'connection refused'.

I am connecting from a different place than I usually do, but I'm not behind a proxy or anything. Maybe just too many people who didn't 'cvs logout'. Anyone know for sure? If it's me then I'll just wait until I'm home again to do the update.

I am actually away on a business trip, which is why I didn't make a big deal about it. I can't play EQ here anyway, so I didn't worry. I'll be home tonight and will try the update. I'll post my results.

When I got home it worked ok. I would hedge a bet on reverse dns problems or just ports not opened up through a firewall.

I am almost sure it is a reverse lookup problem, HanzO. I just got home at it worked fine for me too. The network I was on was not behind a firewall, so I know it wasn't a port issue for me, but I know plenty of sites that won't talk to a host that it can't reverse lookup. I bet the ISP for that network just didn't have DNS entry for it...lots of companies do that for security purposes.
