I've been thinking. People could use the qt2-3.2 rpms/distributions that are available for their OS if we stuck
a libqt-mt-gcc3.so library somewhere else and made showeq
link to that instead. The rest of the qt package could remain the system versions, the only thing showeq cares about the difference in is that shared library. They could alter the configure script to look for this special qt library... if they wanted to.
Ratt/Zaphod/etc? What do you think? Is that too much of a hack?
Seems like the people hosting libEQ.a could distribute a libqt-mt-gcc3.so as well. Actually on reflection that is probably contrary to trolltech's license so it may be moot.
