Hi all,
I know this is not related to seq, but I don’t know an other place where I can find people that have such much knowledge of the EQ protocol. :D
I have the following problem:
In about 50% of the times I log into EQ the chat channels are not working - any command related to channels e.g. /join market produces no response. Normally it can be fixed by relogging or zoning. It happens too that the channels are working and after I zone they are gone :( - very nasty in raids). One or two times I lost the channels without zoning
My OS is WinXP prof. and I have a DSL connection with a hardware-router, which uses NAT. I have configured no port filters and no port mappings.
I have searched the web and found a thread in the news that says it’s related to the DSL-router and perhaps the channels are related to the IRC ports - I have tested IRC and it seems to work, but I have done no intensive testing on this.
Any clue on this is much appreciated
Thank you in advance :)
