How can i email on an alert

Folks,

Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to send an email when showeq gets an alert saying a particular mob has spawned (ie is in my alert section of filters.conf)? If so, can you tell me how to go about this?

You will have to write the code yourself... You could cheat and make the spawn audio command execute a "mail" command, but this would be unsupported behavior...

If you are going to cut code, then why have a manual guild phone tree? Have your emailer program send email, text pages, and or fire up your automated voice dialer.
