do i need new libs and such

About a month ago, give or take a week showeq stopped working for me... sorta

The mobs dont all show up, some show up and it appears as if they are running at mock3 speed and are very innacturate. The maps dont automatically come up anymore, and the spawn list is just fubar...

I assume VI changed something in a patch that changed the format of the data sent and that i need a newer version of showeq. Assuming this is the case, would i need to download newer libpcap stuff and all the other things i had to do a few months ago to get showeq to run?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, EQ is lacking w/o ShowEQ.

Do you mean Yes as in i need a newer version because VI made a change to the packets or Yes i need to update my libpcap and other things?

I do remember putting something2.3.2 and the other things on there.

I read a few posts down about doing a CVS update, and i do remember downloading my version through CVS before. Does this mean that i can do the CVS update?

Yes, you need to do a cvs update, and rebuild.. please search for "update" for information on the commands to use to do that, there are quite a few threads that walk through the procedure...
