Ok I'm tired of playing EQ on my damn laptop and letting my desktop be my linux box...but that was all I had for an option at the time.
I was wondering would it be possible to set Linux Mandrake 8.1 on a Toshiba laptop...only REAL problem I see at the moment is the modem...it's an LT Win Modem...whats a good solution for this if it's a problem and my network card is Xircom XE2000 model...(and its in the PCMCIA or is it PCMIA slot..can't remember exactly...)
Everything else on the laptop appears to be compatible with linux except the modem and possibly the network card..
Anyone able to shed some light on this subject?
