I recently formatted my windows xp partition and reinstalled xp again. Didn't occur to me that this would change the boot process of which I had a choice of which operating system to use. If there is a way to fix this without reinstalling Redhat I'd appreciate any info you could share. I thank you in advance.

No, you only need to install a new bootloader.
Good place for looking for a fix would be the Linux.org HOWTO's:
http://www.linux.org/docs/index.html
or
http://www.linuxquestions.org
or the Linux-sxs.org STEP-BY-STEPS at
http://linux-sxs.org/stepbystep.html
Found a "fix" for your issue in a matter of minutes:
http://linuxquestions.org/questions/history/21824
Found it using http://www.google.com using the searchtext: red hat windows lost bootloader
Anyhow, this is not the right place to look for answers on such a topic.
