since the 14/6 patch, mobs are being decoded only partially, i.e. even after hours in a zone, only some mobs show while other dont , even after a number of times of killing a particular mob and its resapwning , i can see it in front of me in game but seq only shows "spawn point" ..... any ideas ? or am i missing something really trivial here?

(i have create unkown spawn on)


any help in this regard wud be greatly appreciated.

Did you get the new libEQ.a ? I'm not sure if that would cause the behavior or not but just a quick guess.

tried a clean install , the libeq was new but got it again nonetheless, same thing even after setting up from scratch. sometimes a zone will show n omore than 3 or 4 mobs no matter how long u stay , and show them correctly.


please, wud relly appreciate some help on this.

Yes it does this. There's several topics on this already, try using the search to find them, the word to search for is Decode.

tried searching , the only thread i found that addressed my specific problem was this

Strange, if I search using the word "decode" it turns up 74 results. You must be doing something wrong in your search.
