Just wanted to post that after many searches and very few posts 3rd including this one, I was able to get showeq up and running.
Thanks to all the regulars and many thanks for the "search is are friend" posts. Also I should note that I like linux and I am currently setting up a PC as a file server for my small home office network.
My setup is mandrake 8.2 on a 333 K6 AMD processor with 128 megs of RAM, linksys SR41 router (already had this) and a netgear EN104 hub. Showeq runs great, now I just have to learn all of the things that it can do. But once again thanks to all the regulars, by searching I was able to find all the things I needed to get up and running. By the way I had no, I repeat no experience with Linux before this project.
I am looking forward to installing Gentoo on an older PC I have lying around.
