Missing itemdata.dbm

My showeq got work, but something was wrong for it.
1) can not load maps after startup.
2) "you" always a lvl1 human warrior
3) Error message "/usr/local/share/showeq/itemdata.dbm doesn't exist.

Place help me to slove it.

Why dont you start by telling us what does work? If I had to guess, I would say the following:

you didnt build with libEQ.a
you didnt do a 'make install'
you arent running as root
