Why do some mobs have a # preceding the name?
I have been massaging the filter file to remove and add MoBs I am interested in and would like to have them bumped to the top of the list if possible.
Thanks,

i'm sure its been mentioned somewhere, but the # in a mob name usually denotes a "special" mob (as defined by vi). this isn't something seq is putting there, its something that vi put there. frequently, rare nameds have the #, but there are just TONS of mobs that have this # and are not really important, that i can figure out.

In newer areas of EQ (Velious and Luclin) the # seems to denote rare or place holder for rare. If you don't want to see it (and have it put those mobs at the top of the spawnlist) then you should be able to edit the source code and reg replace the # with '' to get them ordered in "correctly".
