Mobs and Loot

I am relatively new to ShowEQ (only been playing with it for 3 months or so) but have a simple question.

When I look at the spawninfo window, sometimes it shows whether or not a mob is carrying loot, but 99% of the time its wrong. I understand there is a database table that is updated when you do loot the mob.... Is this correct?

Also, most mobs show 'nothing' on them, but when you go to loot them there is... Things like Gems, and coin are not shown on this also... Is there a way to detect if a mob has something your looking for?

That's what we used in college in 1994 when all of the SPARC stations running Mosaic were being used!

Havent been to SEQ board for ages - Ive come back and cant remember what my username was so created a new one - but it is lovely to see that the same lame questions are still being asked several years later!!!
