OK.. you are being yelled at because you have asked the number one most commonly asked question on these boards (plus, the answer is in the FAQ).

As for why it worked before: there is a cool new invention called "logic", sometimes know by its other name "critical thinking". Try applying those... Here is a hint for you: when the packet goes from point A to point B, how does it get there? Through the wire...

A project for you

Step 1) Draw a line from the EQ machine to the internet in diagram 1.
Step 2) Draw a line from the EQ machine to the internet in diagram 2.
Step 3) Notice differences.
Step 4) Slap self on head
Step 5) Read and use critical thinking skills before you post the same question that occurs 5 times on the front page of this forum.

Oh, and dont ever edit your posts to remove questions, it makes the whole thread make no sense... You might want to go check out the Appendix in the Smoothwall manual, on how to behave on a technical message board.. I think you only have 2 more rules to break before you get the whole set.
