View Full Version : Bug Report: segfaults in PvP mode

Ah-ha! i have finally figured out what is causing my seg faults when a player zones in.

when I right-click on a map display and select either of the PvP modes under the "show" submenu, seq will crash.

If a PvP mode for the map is set in the config files in /usr/local/share/showeq, then seq will crash sometimes when players zone in and/or are decoded. happens with both "Diety PvP" and "Race PvP" modes.

So, that should narrow down the bug for us. let me know if i can provide more information or a backtrace or whatever.

is there any idea how to fix this (and keep the PvP option on the map working)?

am I missing where that thread actually had a fix for this?

EDIT:
other than just saying (yet again) that if we turn off the PvP option, the seg faults stop happening... but I want PvP on... any suggestions?
