Ok, color me stupid, but I have no idea how to apply this diff, and I noticed it isn't in CVS (or at least, doesn't appear to be when I do an update).
Can someone give me some instruction on how to apply this diff?

The reason the diff is so huge is because I got rid of all the linefeeds (^M) at the end of lines.
To apply:
patch -p0 < maps.diff

Hmm, you might want to double check this patch. When I ran it, I had probably 30 - 50 rejections against the current CVS base.
Probably better off submitting the files individually, or in batches. (We don't need no stinking batches!!)

Is this going to be applied to the files currently in CVS?
Hi Ksmith,
