user name says it all, i did use the search function and i did what it said but still no luck on getting the map to load when i zone in. everything gets decoded fine except the map. what am i doing wrong =P

worked fine for me. Un tar/gz it, put it in your /usr/local/share/showeq directory, and yer gtg

Is it just me or does the download show up as attachment.php instead of the tar.gz file?

Try a right click - save as
