Hiya
Im using the sensheading sniffer, and it works just find like in it grabs the key and send it 192.168.1.10:1000 BUT my SEQ dont get the key, if I manually put in the key it decodes just fine.
So the questions is do I need to setup something on my SEQ box?
EQ is running on WinXP
P.S. I am telling SEQ to look at port 1000
Try a couple things.
1) set the key port in showeq then select Monitor next client seen. Doing this will setup the pcap filter correctly.
2) pick a different port number, say 32421, save your prefs in showeq, then restart showeq.
3) verify the senseheading sniffer is infact sending a key.

p.s. when you figure it out please share the solution with us.

Works like a charm now :)
Apparently there is something buggy with my port 1000 so I changed it as fee suggested, and all is fine now :) atleast untill they ban me ;)
EDIT: btw my mistake in the first place was I missread the CVS Commit Nov 6, 2002 msg as SEQ default port was 10000 NOT 1000
