Memory Dump?

I haven't dealt with system memory enough to know if this is a possibility, but seeing how debugging programs and windows can dump physical memory to disk for debugging tasks, wouldn't it be possible to dump the memory that EQ uses to disk, then sift through that information on disk? Correct me if i'm wrong, this is only a brainstorm that has been on my mind in the past few days.
