Latest version of Qt....

Just a quick question here... All the How-tos that i've looked at for Mandrake 9.0 thus far have been pointing me towarads using Qt 3.0.5. However, when i go to the developers website (Trolltech.com) I only find version 3.1.0 available for download. Will this version of Qt work with seq? If not, is version 3.0.5 available on trolltechs FTP and just not linked on their website?

errmmm... never mind me... i found the older library files... but uhmmm.... still what's the situation with Qt 3.1.0?

I don't know about 3.1, but I still contend that you should use 2.3.2 instead. If you search these forums on the word "performance" you will probably find 50 threads about font issues, freezes, and more, most of which were solved by building Seq with Qt 2.3.2 instead of 3.0.x. Leave 3.0.x on your system for other stuff, get 2.3.2 from Trolltech, build it with the -thread option, export your QTDIR=/path/to/qt/2, and build Seq. Trust me. Just use 2.3.2.
