Blinking blue square?

Simple question that I haven't been able to find the answer to, what's it mean when there's a blinking blue square around a spawnpoint?

You have right clicked the spawn point or 'considered it'. It will draw a magenta line to the spawn point until you consider something else. Once it is 'blinking', I have not found a way to clear it other than by zoning.
