I once lived in Spring, (north of houston) when the goodyear blimp was based there.

Noticed the X-Cell in one of the pics. I have a Lite Machines LMH 110. I'm used to mine being able to take the abuse I don't know if I want to try one with expensive carbon blades ;) I've flown mine into a brick wall full speed and it still flys!

yea, you probably dont want to be trying new stuff in that particular Xcell before you've got it down in a cheaper r/c helo.

That Xcell has the graphite body option, and the body alone cost like $1200. The servo's on it were like $90 a pop, dont recall what the engine cost (Zenoah G23 i think, gas engine).

we didnt pay for it though, money all came from our IARC sponsors Lockheed Martin, Schlumberger, UT Alumni's association and the UT engineering dept.

And we got some free tune up and general advice from Curtis Youngblood (a name im sure you'll regocnize if you are into the r/c helo competition flying). The things he can do with the helo's is nothing short of amazing.

i dont know if i still have any of my old eq ss's, but i can assure you they were all of me looting other people's corpses ;)

i know i still have some AO ss's as well as some other random stuff at http://www.trifocus.net/~casey/pics/ . The only stuff at the gallery site is stuff coming off my digital camera, unless i change my mind at some point in the future.

I went to Austin once. It was for work. All we did was drink and show up late to all the conferences in the morning.
