I've been hearing of rumors of an alternative program that is similar to Seq.

Has anyone seen / heard of any program that does what Seq does?

I mainly ask this because i've told guildmates that Seq is currently broken and they basically tell me there is a different program out there that does the same thing. They cannot however name the program or provide any hard info regarding it.

so are they blowing smoke?

(tried searching every keyword i could think of)

good fix for seq when it's down and out...

the later probaly were thinking about sins which if i'm not mistaken was built off of seq, the gui of sins is nice compared to seq but the bulk of it is derived from seq... b0rked too however

There is SINS, but it's been broken longer than SEQ has and there's no interest in fixing it again.

Actually seeing that you jumped to conclusions about talking about Seq or alternative programs in guildchat and not even considering that we may talk outside EQ. How about i jump to my own conclusions.

jgorrell, you probably have less than a high school education level, you live at home in the basement and to top it all off you don't use the search button at the top of these forums.

As for the other posters in this discussion, i've looked into sins and it does not seem to fit the bill but thanks for the input.

As Pooley said, SINS isn't working atm.

As someone else said, http://home.inreach.com/kai/EQCompanion/ works well, even has a GPS when you do /loc commands.


As for the irrelevant comments about my personal life that we're poorly constructed as an attempt as a flame... ill leave that alone ;) I didn't flame you, yet you still get all wound up about it.. oh well.
