Just uploaded a new patch (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=502812&group_id=10131&atid=310131) that changes the way traps and invisible triggers are displayed on the map. It uses a field in the spawn struct to display rogue disarmable traps as pink dots, and non-disarmable traps and triggers as purple dots.
