Stable / Beta

Well, I am wondering are we to the point of having a stable/release version, and a beta version now. That way anyone is devolping can be working on the newer code, but at the same time, the regular user can always (hopfully) have a good version to run.

That something should be considered, or is too much?

That's probably a good idea overall. Once I get a couple of the really annoying bugs rooted out I'll try to switch to that kind of arrangement.
