I recently changed my Linux box to a Gentoo System.
However, Im getting a "cvs command not found" error.
There is no 'emerge cvs' command.
Anyone here use Gentoo and know where i can get an updated cvs from?

according to the gentoo package map: http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/index.xml
there is a dev-util/cvs package. Just "emerge cvs". If this doesnt work, your machine is fucked.
Also, this is a ShowEQ helpdesk forum... try the gentoo forum for answers about gentoo.

seriously, CVS is not unique to showeq, its a widely used program. Goto the Gentoo boards if you cant figure it out, and it basically is as simple as typing "emerge cvs"
