Anyone getting an error when compiling complaining about not knowing how to compile m_libEQ.cpp?

make[2]: *** No rule to make target `m_libEQ.cpp', needed by `all'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/showeq/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/showeq'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I'm getting the exact same error.

I've blown away my showeq directory and downloaded everything again and get the same error every time I run my make.

I even tried it on a newly installed machine.

Anyone have any thoughts??

cp showeq/src/libeq.h showeq/src/libEQ.h

Amazing that this had already been answered and was readily available (via a search on m_libEQ.cpp) PRIOR to sabek's ORIGINAL post.

It is amazing to me that anyone could miss it.

No... the amazing thing is there must be a problem with the search feature...

I searched the entire forum for each word in the error message... I just did it again and found ONLY this thread...

someone might want to check that...

I try not to post anything here ever... seems only a few actually want to help... others find this a nice place to vent frustrations on others..

go ahead... flame me...

To those that helped me, and others out, I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks!

There is nothing wrong with the search.

I found 5 threads dating back to 5/18/2003.

The problem is NOT in the search function.
