Just so that everyones aware... From the EQLive Scheduled Downtime page (http://eqlive.station.sony.com/support/scheduled_downtime.js):

Scheduled Update for all EverQuest Servers

On Thursday, October 9th, at 3:00 am PDT (-7 hours UTC), all EverQuest servers will be brought down for an update. The estimated down time is 5 hours.

And as is normal and customary ShowEQ will probably be broken for a short while thereafter. Until, of course, the ShowEQ and EQEmu communities rally their troops and make all the opcode and structure changes that the patch requires.

FYI :

It seems that the Patch that is scheduled on 10/9/03 will not come to Kael and Sebilis the same time. On the german Ubi-Board a GM posted that Kael will not be patched.

Im not sure if its only me but the ShowEQ dont work after the patch today :-(
I realy hope it will be up and running soon again.

There are just slight opcode changes (-1 or -2) to most opcodes, a new decode.cpp and a few structure changes. The pros here will have it working perfectly in no time.

Works in GPS mode, but you have to load maps manually.
