checking for X... no soup for me

"configure error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths."

Alright I am stumped simply because I don't know what libraries or "X includes" to find and where. I tried searching but either my search skills sucks or the answer isn't there. Anyone have any clue or could point me to the string to search for?
Mandrake 9.0 is the distro btw.

Sounds like you dont have X-windows installed properly.

You are probably looking for something like "xfree86-devel" or something with "xfree" and "devel" in it :)
