Little question about the make command

Seeing as I have a dual P3 800 system I have been using the -j3 switch to make.

My question is for the 'make install' do I use 'make install -j3' or make -j3 install'.

I have used the 'make install -j3' without problem and it just clicked to me while I'm compiling the new version of SEQ ..... "hmm maybe thers a different way?"

Am I doing it right guys ?

make install .. just does a copy job .. ie a setup, i dont think you need a dual proz option for this ;)

Since the hard drive is what is slowing things down in the make install case. using the 2nd CPU isn't giving you anything.
