New user here...

I want to view the client on my laptop while I play on my PC
I have it set up now to view on pc.. question is how do I set it up to view on laptop while in game?

Sorry if this is a question that has already been answered elsewhere thanks for your time.

*edit* Ok installed the client along with the .netframwork onto the laptop. Logged into EQ started server and then the client on the laptop. Getting this error message: "could not connect to the server:No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

What do I need to change so that it can connect?

You need to set the IP Address of the Server in the Client's Option (F1). Then click GO.

If you don't know how to find your ip address...

Go to Start/Run and type cmd.
From the prompt type: ipconfig

Your output will look similar to this:

If you are on a Win9x box (and WinME i think), then you will need to do the following:

Click Start
Click Run
Type the following (no quotes): winipcfg
Hit Enter

If I remember correctly, you can also run the winipcfg application from a DOS prompt as well, although I don't have a 9x box booted up right now to check.
