I searched the forums but didn't find any refereance to this problem. When I start the server, I get this Message:
Uncaught exception in main (): Font "arial" does not support style "regular".
I am using Verson 1.15.16 of the server. Both were downlaoded tonight.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
In case its needed, I'm running Windows XP home. I did download the .net fram as well
Thanks

Make sure you have arial font on your system, I know arial is a defualt font and regular is a default setting for the font. I wonder if yours is corrupted.

ok that kinda confuses me. Does that mean I need to get a copy of the arial file and replace mine?
or does that mean I need to change my font to Arial?
I did notice about 5 months ago that my fonts screwed up and it was hard to read small letters in EQ unless I have chatfontsize 5.

That's what it sounds like. You can search on your WinXP CD for arial.* and if it has a .ttf all you need to do is copy it into the Font directory in the C:\Windows\Fonts dir.
If you can't find it let me know and I can put the font file on the site.

You copied the file into the C:\Windows\Fonts directory?
If so and it still doesnt work then you may have to reinstall the OS but that should only be done as the last resort.

The file was fucked.
I went back and deleted it then installed your copy and it booted up.
Thanks much for the help man.
