segfault :(

Been using ShowEQ for 2 months + now with no trouble.

Today I logged in and ShowEQ started to segfault on me after a bit of use. Some times it would really quick, sometimes it would after 5 minutes

Running on Linux release 2.4.20-ck6 for processor i686

I run a Gentoo system and patched a few things but I can't tell what would have effected ShowEQ.

Any help is greately appreciated.

what else is running on your network?

Seems to happen a lot when you have a p2p network going on (Kazaa, eDonkey , etc)

I thought it might be the new version, but as soon as I turned off the p2p activity, I haven't had a seg fault since.

There is no p2p software running that i installed and I am the only person who would touch these machines.

I will check for some though.

use gdb to figure out why it is crashing. Save us all this damn guesswork. If you need help with gdb, then use search.

Turned off a third computer and it hasn't seg faulted on me in over 2 hours. Will try to set up gdb on it next time. Though do I need to build it with debug to make it useful?
