cvs trouble?

Yeah, the CVS servers are very picky. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. You can either keep trying, or grab one of the tarballs (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10131&package_id=13256) from the Files section. They're up to date. Grab 4.3.21 for the most recent version as of this post, or if you want to use the Beta (I recommend it - it's a bit nicer to work with), grab 5.0.0.7.
