since the CVS is not working correctly anyone have an idea on how i can get the download on this fresh install of fedora?

CVS is working just fine, I'm checking out ShowEQ as I type this.

times out.. something changed then that i cannot find?

cvs [update aborted]: connect to cvs.seq.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.209):2401 failed: Connection timed out

the Address is no longer cvs.seq.sourceforge.net, but cvs.sourceforge.net.

Everything else is the same.

If you can find the config file saved to change the name, it should work, or just blow it away and download a fresh copy of the source, then your updates will start working again.
