Ethereal Plugin?

I'm just curious. Anyone ever take a stab at writing a plugin for Ethereal?

Like, to do what?Well, it's kinda obvious :) For analyzing packets after patches when ShowEQ breaks. Visualization is a powerful tool imho. I've never really done much EQ work, but have had my fair share of reversing data in many other products. It's amazing how much a decent hex editor w/ flexible offset definitions and scripting helps a process. I could only imagine the same w/ ethereal for network traffic.

hmm never thought to use tail, just tail -f filname.log ?
