EQStr failed to open

I want to thank you guys for getting this thing up and running for me the first time. I now have another problem. Things were going fine until today-- when I tried to run SEQ I get this at the end of the load--


Warning: EQStr: Failed to open '/usr/local/share/showeq/eqstr_us.txt'

and nothing is happening with SEQ. What is up with this?? I have changed nothing from one day to the other.

Try to copy a fresh EQ_Str.txt and make sure that you can read this file with the user you run SEQ.

Oh, and because SEQ is a sniffer... it must run as a user with root privilege.

This is a quote directly from my install guide.. The answer is on the forum allready..

You may get errors.. This is ok. The program looks for files in various locations on your system.. Lucky for you, XWINDOWS will make this very easy. You need to add a file <sometimes 2, so lets add both to be safe> from your Windows Pc's everquest folder..
Copy the files eqstr_us.txt and spells_us.txt to your showeq directory in linux.

I did that Zand. It would not work-- but never mind--I reintalled it and have a different problem now :-)
