I've debianized ksmith's itemcollector and it's now available from my personal debian reposititory.
Sadly, Debian and Java aren't the best of friends. You'll have to do some leg work to get a jre working under Debian.

Please submit an issues directly to me, as this is a hack on ksmith's pristine source and he hasn't integrated all my changes into his code base.
I'd like the opportunity to filter my bugs before having to dump more work on ksmith.
