Maps not coming up

I did a fresh install of the x.x.x.16 version of ShowEQ on a Mandrake 10 platform. I did all the guides that I saw plus the changes in the Dec 14 post. All that is fine and dandy and working skittles wise. However, the maps do not come up when I log in or zone. In looking in the showeq directory, there wasnt a "maps" directory. I created one and downloaded the Sony version of the maps from mapfiend and extracted them to the directory that I created. Now I can load the maps manually. How can I get it to do it automatically like it used to before I started over?

Look in the development forum - I posted a "16a" tarball and patch from "16" to get everything current.

There is also a seperate "maps" installer that was announced with "15"'s release. you can find links to download and install them here (http://www.showeq.net/forums/showthread.php?t=5065)
