There are packages maintained by various people for various distributions. It doesn't get much easier than that....

What distro do you have? Someone builds Debian builds and someone else makes RPMs.

I myself just compile my own :) Not sure if any of the other dev's have a gentoo/AMD64 box. :)

I believe Z does Suse and I think he is also AMD64 dude.
