I installed new hard drives on my computer so I had to reinstall Fedora Core 3. I downloaded Showeq ver 24 bz file and installed that with no problems. I then downloaded the maps ver 4 rpm and it won't install. I get "error: Failed dependencies: showeq > 5.0.0.14 is needed by showeq-maps-1.0.3.noarch". I searched for an answer to the problem but can't locate anything. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong ? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

It sounds like the maps rpm requires the seq rpm, but since you installed seq manually using the tarball, rpm doesn't think you have the dependency met.

Thank you Purple for the quick response. I'm going to sound like a newby now but I can't find a bz version of maps or a rpm version of ver 24 showeq. Do you know if they exist ?

ShowEQ Maps on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10131&package_id=130853) has a tarball for maps.
RPMs from CeleSEQ (http://fedora.showeq.org) has 5.0.0.24 RPMs.
