Ubuntu should work fine, try looking up tanner's .deb releases if you're having trouble compiling your own.

I stopped making Ubuntu packages since no one has download the binaries since I first put them up. But you can look at this url for how to build it from source 'the debian' way:

Thanks Tanner :D
tonni,
What version of Ubuntu are you useing? I tried to run SEQ about a month ago but did not get it working, finally gave up and went back to Mandrake. After reading tanner's post I think I may try it again. I was using version 5.04 and could not upgrade ... Oh I forgot, I could not upgrade something to get it to run...

Tanner,
I have looked at using pbuilder and it is just a bit confusing to me. I have no idea if you have gotten any requests to redo the binaries for Ubuntu but I for one would appreciate it is you did. I can switch back to Debian and get all working but I would like to give Ubuntu and chance and I am not willing to do that without a working showeq.
Thanks for your time and for reading this,
Madhatter
