Can someone please explain to me how to use Show EQ? I downloaded a recent version but I have no idea what Linux is and even more clueless as to how to use it...you could call me a major n00b. If someone could please explain the whole concept to me, that would be great.

You forgot to explain the concept to him.

Showeq is for people that are willing to take the time to read LINUX boards to learn enough about Linux to get it running, and then read these boards enough to install SEQ.

Everything you need to know has already been posted.
