Announcing the release of ShowEQ version 5.2.3. This release provides preliminary compatibility against Live Servers as of the 12/7 patch. Note that this release was put out pretty quickly with minimal testing, so if you have any problems, please speak up. About 70% of the opcodes are refound and all known struct changes are up to date. There will more than likely be another release shortly that cleans up the remaining opcodes but this should be good enough for most of you.
Changelog:
purple (12/07/05)
------------------
+ Updated version to 5.2.3.0
+ Beefed up configure checks for qt so people don't get qt4 when they upgrade to the latest version
+ Redid most world opcodes, zone opcodes
+ Updated structs for 12/7 live
Fetch the new release from the files section on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10131&package_id=13256&release_id=376751), or if you prefer to use anoncvs for some crazy reason, it will probably be updated by midday tomorrow depending on the whims of sourceforge.
To install:
$ tar xjvf showeq-5.2.3.0.tar.bz2
$ cd showeq-5.2.3.0
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install
If you have problems with ./configure, try:
$ LIBC=gnu ./configure
If you use a package for your distribution, I imagine it will be along shortly.
