Yah, sucks when the only place to find the FAQ is on a site that's down or having problems. :)

There are several places you can look. Google cache, wayback, etc, if you want to see copies of the faq.

If you search launchpad.net there is documentation on how to make Debian packages Ubuntu packages.

The ubuntu sources.list repositories aren't working. I get 'Failed to fetch ftp://ftp.real-time.com/linux/real-time-debpool/dists/hoary/custom/source/Sources.gz Unable to fetch file, server said '/linux/real-time-debpool/dists/hoary/custom/source/Sources.gz: No such file or directory.

Same thing for Packages.gz

I switched it to 'sid' instead of trying an ubuntu dist after looking on the ftp. hoary and breezy don't exist. So now i'm creating ubuntu package from the 'sid' debian packages.

It would be nice if you had a dapper dist directory and could add that, but i'm not sure if you've got that kind of time.
