I'm VERY new to Linux, i've followed the instructions on the front page to install Show EQ. I have Fedora core. I am in the terminal window and i followed the instructions. I'm logged in as root. I did the ./config. The make and make install commands are not working. what am i doing wrong? When I do the "make" command it says

"make:***no targets specified and no makefile found. stop."

Run `./configure`, not `./config`. It should look like this (output removed):


$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install
dudex

There's no point in installing it anyway, since it stopped working as of the (May?!) patch.

Until Purple finishes working out the new SOE data streams, SEQ won't work - but learning a bit of Linux is not a bad idea in any case :)
