Running Ubuntu 7.10, here is the ./configure which completes successfully, when I make it errors out.. any ideas?

think I figured it out.. came across another thread here talking about version.h missing #define line.. seems to be the case with me as well.. its currently compiling so see how it goes.

its up and running and works.. I copied the maps I downloaded from mapfiend into showeq/maps folder but they are not loading.. ideas?

I put my maps in /usr/local/share/showeq/maps. I, too, downloaded the mapfiend maps and they work fine.

Ahh, I had them in the wrong folder, working fine now. thanks
