CTD - What do I need to do to provide you with more information to diagnose the problem and find a cause/solution.

net.core.netdev_max_backlog=30000

Computer specs
Linux = Kubuntu
Mem = 3G
HD = Tons of open space
NIC = 1 gig
CPU = Intel Duo 2.2GHz
X = KDE 3.5.9

2 sessions of NoMachine running
1 sessions has 4 SEQ windows open
1 sessiosn has 2 SEQ windows open (sometimes)

Network traffic load:
No BitTorrent applications or VoIP applications running. Session tracking is checked.
So effectively just EQ at this time.

I see this error when I have 1 terminal sesion running 4 different SEQ sessions running (damn roomates expecting me to keep track of everything for them... okay... it kicks ass and is fun to do).

P.S. Thank you to the maintainers for keeping this project going while I was on my break from the game. It was nice to come back to the game and have my most favorite tool still working.

I just noticed that a different session crashed with this

Debug: Player::backfill(bind): Pos (-215.929688/-66.550461/-155.373993) Heading: 143.000000

Warning: Oversized packet fragment requested buffer of size 0 on stream 3 OpCode 0000 seq 005a
Time: Thu Oct 06,3267 - 10:48 pm
Warning: !!!! EQPacketFragmentSequence::addFragment(): buffer overflow adding in new fragment to buffer with seq 0219 on stream 3, opcode 0000. Buffer is size 225244 and has been filled up to 225021, but tried to add 505 more!

I'm not sure how I'm getting a 505 more error when I have my buffers set so high.

As of this time I have found no rhym or reason as to why these crashes are occuring. I wish I could reproduce them regularly so I could figure out why.

I also have seen random crashed with the buffer overflow message. it happened twice while trying to zone into PoJustice didn't bother trying a third time, but can easily run more test if I am told to enable any special logging.

Also, the current build will crash if you're grouped and then disband and zone. I'll put up a new one later on tonight.

I read that abuot the 505's out of the FAQ, which is why I pushed my net buffer stuff so high. I figured I would need more buffering since I would be running so many SEQ sessions on the same machine.

Is there a possibily I have them set too high?

I don't really know that much about linux networking or that aspect of the ShowEQ program :o
