ShowEQ 3.0.4 and libEQ.a

I use mandrake 8.1 and have been running Sins for a while but wanted to try showeq. But when i try and configure it it complains about my libEQ.a not beeing in the correct dir. whereis libEQ.a say there are a libEQ.a in both /usr/lib, /usr/local/lib and i tryd and copy the newest libEQ.a there but it still say it isnt there. I only have showEQ 3.0.4 since i dunno where to get a 4.0.

Im sorry for beeing stupid and not using search since i discoverd this question have been answerd many times over allready..sorry!..=)

*cough* I used CVS to upgrade Sins many times, didnt figure showEQ would use CVS to..its only listed on sourceforge..i AM stupid..=(
