Is there any way to run the server as a service within windows?

It was based on 1.22 code though, so is a bit old.

The support for those options listed in that thread are still in the server in the current version.

So it should still work.

I have not done it with windows 7 or Vista though. But it was running with a service pretty good for me when I played with it before using WinXP.
